Leaving Impressions, Inc
by Marci Narum Delivering Messages of Impact & Inspiration that Go Beyond Words
Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “What you do speaks so loudly, I can’t hear what you say.” Whether he intended it or not, I interpret Emerson’s quote to mean our actions leave a lasting and hopefully positive impact on others in ways our words sometimes cannot.
My heart’s desire is to offer something that goes beyond what words can express - gifts, creations and messages that inspire, appreciate and celebrate.
My Impressions Artwork features positive and inspirational messages, quotes and scripture.
My Professional Services bring a spirit of creativity, entertainment, inspiration and motivation.
I have more than 20 years of experience in television news, and I have always been passionate about reaching people through inspirational messages. Thanks to 4-H, I started public speaking at the early age of 9. I continued that journey into junior high, the high school speech team and during college, where I decided to follow my heart and pursue a degree and career in broadcasting. I continued polishing my public speaking skills by joining Toastmasters in 2000. I am honored to have reached the “Accomplished Toastmaster,” Bronze level.
I started my creative art as a hobby in 1999. It quickly became a passion—one which has since required its own studio in our home. I have more than a thousand designs with which I make framed creations, decorative tiles and beverage coasters. I choose high-quality cardstock, decorative papers and embellishments.

I love leaves, and I frequently use pressed leaves in my framed creations. They are collected while taking walks along the Missouri River or on trips to Minnesota with my husband, Jim. Sometimes I incorporate other pieces of nature, such as heads of wheat, feathers, seashells, sand or tree bark.
Allow me to create something for you, design a gift for someone else, or deliver a message to your group.
